ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – The Colorado Police Officers Foundation set up a fundraising account for the fallen Adams County Sheriff’s deputy.
They identify him as 32-year-old Heath Gumm. They say he is survived by his wife and family.
Gumm was gunned down Wednesday night in Adams County while responding to an assault.
Gumm’s body was escorted to the coroner’s office in Brighton.
The Colorado FOP says Gumm served with the Adams County Sheriff’s since 2013.
